Tickets are now on sale for our spring concert: From Mozart to Madonna.  The concert will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012, 7pm, at the Congregation Beth Elohim Temple on 8th Ave and Garfield Place in Park Slope, Brooklyn.   We look forward to seeing you there!

The Brooklyn Community Chorus is an independent community choir in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is open to anyone who loves to sing a variety of music, both sacred and secular, classical and popular, historic and contemporary. All ages are welcome; no auditions are needed.

We draw our conductors and soloists from within the chorus and from the local community. Our choice of repertoire is often determined by popular consent of the group rather than imposed by a single music director.

It is this spirit of democratic community that makes the Brooklyn Community Chorus unique, and a truly community organization.

We are no longer accepting new singers for the Spring 2012 semester.  Our next semester will start in September and we do accept new singers for the first three weeks of every semester. If you are interested in singing with us in the future, please email one of our conductors, Steven Coburn.
