Come Sing With Us!

The Brooklyn Community Chorus is an independent community choir in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is open to anyone who loves to sing a variety of music, both sacred and secular, classical and popular, historic and contemporary. All ages are welcome; no auditions are needed.

We draw our conductors and soloists from within the chorus and from the local community. Our choice of repertoire is often determined by popular consent of the group rather than imposed by a single music director.

It is this spirit of democratic community that makes the Brooklyn Community Chorus unique, and a truly community organization.

Our first rehearsal of the Spring Semester is January 11th, 2012 (7:30pm).  We accept new singers for the first three weeks of every semester. If you are interested in singing with us, please show up to a rehearsal or email one of our conductors, Steven Coburn or our President, Mariko Watt.
